Call for ContributionsSubmit an AbstractParticipants who wish to present a contribution (oral or poster) are asked to submit an abstract by May 20, 2005 . Authors should indicate if they would like to be selected for an oral presentation. Abstracts should describe concisely the objectives, methods, and results of the work which will be presented. Authors will be notified about acceptance of their contributions within May 23, 2005 . The presenting author must be a registered participant. Abstracts of all presentations (i.e. Plenary and Keynote lectures, Oral communications and Posters) will be printed in the Book of Abstracts of the Symposium and will be included in a CD-ROM supplement to be made available to all participants upon registration. Abstracts may include Tables, Schemes, Figures and References within the allotted space. To maintain a consistent appearance Abstract should be written in a one page format, according to the template form provided and sent by e-mail to the Symposium Secretariat (chirality2005@unipr.it) as attached file. Please specify in your e-mail if you submit an abstract for an oral communication or for a poster. Abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstract only if the presenting author is registered at the ISCD-17 (or 4-ISBC). The e-mail object for the submission of abstract to the ISCD-17 Symposium should be: Abstract ISCD-17 followed by the name and surname of the presenting author. Deadline for submission is May 20, 2005. The Symposium Committee will select the papers for oral presentations and will communicate its decision to authors by May 23, 2005. PresentationOral presentations: Slides, Overheads and Multimedia (Power Point) projectors will be available. Poster presentations: Size should not exceed 120 cm (height) and 90 cm (width). Young Researcher HighlightsSeveral oral communications will be reserved for young researchers working in the field of chirality. If you are a Ph.D. students (or you have just finished your Ph.D.) or a junior researcher in your company, and chirality (in any aspect) is your primary field of interest, you are invited to submit an abstract to be considered for an oral communication. Just follow the instructions for the submission and add at the end of your abstract the words “ Young Researcher Highlights ”. A special attention will be given to your contribution.
